Stefanie Zilka is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Carr & Ferrell. Ms. Zilka specializes in intellectual property law with an emphasis on patent prosecution, strategic IP planning and patent portfolio management.

Ms. Zilka has served as in-house patent counsel for Autodesk, Inc., where she managed Autodesk's patent portfolio and designed patent strategies to support various business objectives, among her many other undertakings while at Autodesk, Inc. As an attorney with Carr & Ferrell, her work has included both technology-related industries and other business ventures. Having a wide-range of experience, she has developed the ability to move seamlessly between complex business and IP issues.

Ms. Zilka has experience in patent prosecution for software, business methods, semiconductor fabrication, database and storage systems, multimedia technologies and mechanical arts. In addition, Ms. Zilka is proficient at drafting license agreements and preparing claim charts for Internet-related litigation.
