Tam Thanh Pham is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Carr & Ferrell. Ms. Pham specializes in intellectual property law with an emphasis on litigation, patent preparation and prosecution.

Ms. Pham has worked on intellectual property interests with companies in the start-up phase, as well as mid-size and multi-national corporations. Her experience in patent prosecution ranges from life sciences to computer science and engineering products. Ms. Pham has extensive experience in several areas of biological sciences, including molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, and molecular genetics. Prior to joining Carr & Ferrell, Ms. Pham has worked as a research scientist in biological and chemical laboratories and as a software quality assurance supervisor at an internet start-up company.

• Act as patent counsel for start-up software development company, including representing the company in connection with patent prosecution before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
• Act as intellectual property counsel for start-up products company, including representing the company in connection with patent, trademark, and copyright prosecution before the United States Patent & Trademark Office and U.S. Copyright Office.
• Represent technology company in litigation and negotiations involving patent infringement.
